DeVos Place® is a state-of-the-art convention center located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids on the beautiful Grand River. The multilevel DeVos Place provides flexible and functional space with 1-million-square feet of new and renovated space on a 13-acre riverfront site. It is ideally equipped for meetings, conventions and trade shows as well as performing arts and touring events, and has the capability of hosting a variety of events simultaneously.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

Access to downtown and DeVos Place from the North, South & West is not impacted by the I-196 Construction, follow the usual routes (see directions below) to get right Dowtown.  From the East I-196 is closed at College Ave.  If you are coming in from downtown you have many detour options, including exiting at College Ave (S) and following Michigan Ave (W) right to DeVos Place.

From Traverse City / Cadillac
• U.S. 131 SOUTHBOUND, to Pearl Street Exit (85B)
• At base of ramp turn LEFT onto Pearl Street
• Cross the Grand River and turn LEFT onto Monroe Avenue to DeVos Place (one block)

From Kalamazoo / Battle Creek
• U.S. 131 NORTHBOUND, to Pearl Street exit (85B)
• At base of ramp turn RIGHT onto Pearl Street
• Cross the Grand River and turn LEFT onto Monroe Avenue to DeVos Place (one block)

From Lansing / Detroit (**These directions detour you away from the I-196 construction downtown)
• I-96 WESTBOUND M-6 West
• Follow M-6 to U.S. 131 North
• U.S. 131 NORTHBOUND to Pearl Street Exit (85B)
• At base of ramp turn RIGHT onto Pearl Street
• Cross the Grand River and turn LEFT onto Monroe Avenue to DeVos Place (one block)

From Holland / Benton Harbor / St. Joseph / Chicago
• I-196 EASTBOUND to Ottawa Avenue Exit (77C)
• SOUTH (straight) on Ottawa to second light, turn RIGHT onto Lyon Street
• WEST on Lyon Street to first light, turn RIGHT onto Monroe Avenue
• Monroe Ave to DeVos Place on LEFT (approximately ½ block)

From Muskegon
• I-96 EASTBOUND to U.S. 131 SOUTHBOUND to Pearl Street Exit (85B)
• At base of ramp turn LEFT onto Pearl Street
• Cross the Grand River and turn LEFT onto Monroe Avenue to DeVos Place (one block)
